Jennifer is a senior reporter for Yahoo! Finance, covering the Federal Reserve, Congress, the White House, the economy, cryptocurrencies and the intersection of Washington policy and finance. She has interviewed some of the most influential people in politics and finance, including New York Federal Reserve President John Williams, Securities & Exchange Commission Chair Gary Gensler, Acting Labor Secretary Julie Su, and Senator Elizabeth Warren.

 

Jennifer has moved the stock market with her interviews with Federal Reserve officials and regularly reports on high-profile marketing moving events, including the Fed’s interest rate setting meetings. Prior to Yahoo!, Jennifer covered Washington, the economy and the Fed for the Fox Business Network. She has also written for Kiplinger magazine. She began her career at the PBS NewsHour. She majored in finance and international business at the University of Virginia.
